I.F. Neistadt's apartment house
Detailed description
By order of the merchant I. F. Neishtadt, a neoclassical style house was built in 1915 by architect K. A. Dulin. The main facade of the high-rise building is decorated with elements of ancient architecture. The three floors are connected by an elegant colonnade of three private columns and pilasters of the Corinthian order. There are bas-reliefs depicting musicians under the windows of the third and fourth floors. Projecting bay windows give the building a unique look. The fifth and sixth floors are also decorated with pilasters. On the sixth floor there is a classical frieze that separates it from the fifth. The front and back stairs are decorated with natural stone. There are metal rods with stylized harps on the facade of the staircase, which reflects the facade decor.
