City Duma

The City Duma building was built from 1834 to 1837 in an architectural style similar to pre-revolutionary buildings. The project of the building was redone several times, as the architects could not meet the budget. The facade of the building is made in a classic style, it is simple and concise. It is a two-storey overall L-shaped building. The building is covered with smooth plaster, there is a horizontal rust on the ground floor. The door and window openings of the ground floor are decorated with plaster keystones and profiled window sills. The windows of the second floor are decorated with plaster profiled architraves and trapezoidal sandriks. The floors are separated by a cornice.
