The author of the sketch is Pavel Shugurov. The mural, according to the author, is dedicated to Russia's first "chinatown". The panel depicts real residents of Vladivostok at the end of the 19th century. The painting was created based on photographs of people and architectural structures. The owners of nearby cafes and restaurants helped in the creation of this mural.
