Detailed description
The wall was built during the reign of Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich, in 1585-1591. The fragment is located near a Clear pond. On one side, the fence started from the Kremlin's Water Tower, and ended in a corner tower near the Kitay-Gorod wall. The base was lined with white stone, and on top was a large brick. The Apraksin-Trubetskoy House, the Volkov-Yusupov chambers and the main house of the Orlov-Denisov estate are located nearby.
