Machine School
Detailed description
The main attraction of Kronstadt is the Baltic Fleet Machine School. It was founded in 1885. Sailors were trained in bilge work in this building, and they were trained to work in the ship's engine room. This school had several buildings in which classrooms were located. Analogs of shipboard units were provided for the students. In one of the buildings, decorated with stained glass windows, which attracts architects, there was a stoker's room, which recreated a replica of the ship's engine room.
