The building of the city commercial school

In 1891, it was planned to open a trade academy in the city, but this never materialized. Only ten years later, in 1900, the merchant society funded the opening of the Rostov Commercial School for boys. In 1901, a trade school was opened under the auspices of the Trade School. Since 1931, the Rostov Institute of Finance and Economics (now Rostov State University of Economics) began its activities there.
