Apartment house of A.I. Ponomareva

This building was built at the end of the 19th century. Its decor was made using elements typical of the neoclassical eclectic trend. The contrasting composition is emphasized by the extreme rafters, which are framed by huge semi-columns connecting the two upper floors. The interior facade of the building is decorated with a variety of brick decorations: the first floor and the pillars of the third are rusticated, the window openings of the upper floor are framed with counter-windows with "ears", the second floor is decorated with portals in the form of Doric pilasters with masonry and a triangular pediment.
