The von Reck Mansion
Detailed description
The building was built in 1897. This famous mansion is also called the "House with Lions", it was also part of the complex of the Von Reck estate. The building is very luxuriously decorated with stucco. The main facade features columns, a fountain, and a ground-floor front window. On the left, the building is made in the form of an octagonal tower with columns, round windows and a scaly domed roof. At the entrance to the house there are sculptures of lions, on the right and left sides of the main entrance. To this day, four main halls have remained in the house in their original form. In 2017, the house was completely renovated, the mansion is a monument of architecture and urban planning of federal significance. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation is currently located in this building.
