I.L. Ding's Mansion
Detailed description
The building was built in 1902 in the Art Nouveau style. It was used as the administrative building of a pasta factory and as an apartment building for the owner's family. The building has a rather complex structure consisting of several volumes of different sizes, there are shaped chimneys and hoods. The multi-sized windows emphasize the unusual nature of the building, each of them is decorated with stucco relief frames. The facades at that time were painted in a light pink shade, and the house chapel was located on the second floor. Initially, the main entrance was located on the factory side. In 1904, a separate small porch was added on the street side. At the same time, a fence with a curly cast-iron grating, beautiful columns and a front gate was erected. Majolica landscape panels have become an expressive element of the facade. In the 1920s, the mansion was used as a club. From 1995 to 1996, reconstruction took place. Today, the factory continues to operate, some buildings are occupied by a business center.
