Detailed description

The cathedral was erected in 2011 and is the cathedral of the Kyzyl Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It is a large snow-white building. The temple is unique in that it contains fragments of the relics of 83 Kiev Caves saints, among whom are such as St. Nestor the Chronicler, Ilya Muromets, Alypius the Iconographer, Mark the Grave Digger, Hieromartyr Vladimir and Metropolitan of Kiev. The cathedral was consecrated by the Moscow Patriarch of All Russia Kirill himself.
