The main house of the Aladin-Golitsyn estate
Detailed description
The main house of the Aladin-Golitsyn estate was erected around the middle of the XVIII century. The building is a stone house, next to which wings are attached on both sides. The first owners of the house were the Aladin family, and since the beginning of the 19th century, the owner was Natalia Ivanovna Golitsyna, the mother of the Decembrist Valerian Mikhailovich Golitsyn. Then, during the 19th and 20th centuries, the editorial offices of magazines and newspapers were located in the house. In addition, this house is also notable for the fact that Bulgakov "settled" the office employees from the novel "The Master and Margarita" in it, who, seized by the epidemic, sang the ancient song "Glorious Sea, Sacred Baikal" without stopping.
