Uraloblsovet House

The building was built according to a standard experimental design developed in 1928. A characteristic feature of the building is its economy, with a compact office space. It has architectural features that distinguish it from the surrounding "brick" buildings of the late 19th century and modern buildings. The building consists of five buildings (one eight-storey and four six-storey), all of them have the shape of a parallelogram and are located around the perimeter of the courtyard with small gaps between the edges. The facades have a geometric shape, without decorative details, and are characterized by horizontally arranged striped windows. An important part of the facade's design are the large projecting rectangular balconies and bay windows on the stairs. The terraces on the first and eighth floors also add volume, giving the building a richer look. It is an architectural monument of the early 1930s, associated with the experimental study of new types of housing in a constructivist form.
