Merchant Borodin 's House
Detailed description
In the second half of the 19th century, Alexander Borodin, a merchant of the first guild, built his estate, which included both a residential building and office premises. A two-storey stone house, designed by architect M. L. Reutov in 1881, has been preserved to this day. The house was built as an apartment building, the living quarters were on the second floor. The first floor was occupied by shops. The house is built in a "brick" style, the facade is decorated with eclectic brick patterns and shapes. The house was renovated in 2021.
