Volzhsko-Kamsky Bank of the beginning. XX century .
Detailed description
The Volga-Kama Commercial Bank was built in 1889. The facade of the building is a typical officious solution of the Soviet neoclassicism of the late 1930s, which is characterized by the use of monumental forms and volumes, as well as emblematic compositions. The main facade on the south side has large divisions and stucco decoration, and on the tympanum of the pediment there is a stucco relief with the state coat of arms. In 1938, changes were made to the exterior of the building and its interiors designed by architect G.A. Golubev, namely: a change in the design of the building. It still exists in this form.
