Mosaic sculpture of the Madonna and Child in the porthole

The mosaic panel was delivered from Moscow to Surgut in 1981. The panel weighs more than two tons. A mosaic in the form of a Madonna and Child in a porthole was placed on the facade of the Sargat air terminal. Since then, the panel has become the hallmark of the city of Surgut, which welcomes and escorts passengers at the airport.
