The first house of the City Council
Detailed description
The house was designed by architect S.V. Dombrovsky in 1928. The building is an example of a commune house in the constructivist style: in the early 1930s, Lilia Brik, the "muse of the Russian avant-garde" lived here (room 19)with her husband Vitaly Primakov, who played an important role in the life of the poet Vladimir Mayakovsky.
