In the 1900s, the site of the house was transferred to the Department of Institutions of Empress Maria, which was responsible for managing educational and educational institutions. The house itself was completed in 1905. In 1911-1915, the Mayak cinema was located on the ground floor of the building. Famous people lived in the house. Later, there was a furniture store here, and later a sports store that was open until the 1990s.
