The apartment house of A.G. Guderman

The building is decorated with stone plaster reliefs, a beautiful entrance gate and many small architectural details. This is a classic merchant's yard with utility rooms in the house and utility rooms in the courtyard. The commercial function of the second floor is indicated by two doors to the basement from the street and huge arched windows to the courtyard, probably to illuminate the sales area or provide the store with goods from the back rooms of the courtyard. On the ground floor of the house there were furnaces for living quarters and kitchens, heating came from chimneys passing through the walls.
