Charles de Ritz-a-Port Houses
Detailed description
This building is part of the complex of buildings of the "House of S. D. de Riz-a-Port". At the end of the 19th century, the enterprises of the merchant Krumbugel were located on this plot of land. By the beginning of the 20th century, it was sold to a Swiss citizen, de Riz-a-Porto. In a few years, a complex of apartment buildings was built on his orders. They were used exclusively for long-term apartment rentals. During the long period of the buildings' existence, famous personalities have lived here: architects, researchers and professors. Apparently, the buildings have not been restored, as the color of the facade has still been preserved, and the interior features broom tiles, brass handles, and metal railings of the marches.
