Women's Pedagogical Institute
Detailed description
The Women's Pedagogical Institute was built at the beginning of the 20th century. The building, consisting of three floors (in some parts it has a fourth floor), is made of brick. It underwent reconstruction in 1904-1906 under the leadership of Alexei Zazersky and Vasily Starostin. On the ground floor there was a lobby, a reception room, a gymnasium, an elementary school, a kindergarten, an office and one residential apartment. On the second floor there were apartments, rooms for administration, as well as departments of the institute and laboratories.
