N.P. Zaitsev's house

A landmark is located not far from Petrovskaya Embankment – this is the Apartment building of merchant N.P. Zaitsev. The 1911 Neoclassical building is a five-storey building with a stone facade and decorative sculptures. They sort of tell us their ancient story, about the ancient heroes, goliaths and Atlanteans of ancient Greece. The central part of the house is highlighted by a portico of four columns and two pilasters of the Ionic order and completed with a triangular pediment, the main entrance with high doors and walls inside the house decorated with stucco. Currently, it is still an apartment building, which represents the historical and architectural value of the city.
