The Rock is the Castle of Guile and Love

On one of the spurs of the Rocky Ridge, in the valley of the Alikonovka River, in the west of Kislovodsk, the Castle of Treachery and Love is an impressive rock formation. The rock, which reaches a height of 950 m above sea level and rises 80 meters beyond the starboard side of the valley, resembles a fortress with battlements. It consists of dolomitized limestones and has the shape of a cuesta, an elongated ridge with asymmetrical slopes.
