It is an ancient fortress of the Cimmerians and part of the Great Silk Road. Numerous archaeological expeditions have found here the remains of the Kobani civilization, which existed in the eighth centuries BC. Funeral equipment was discovered, indicating a highly developed culture. Traces of a city with artisan quarters have also been found. On the eastern part of the cliff, you can see three cisterns that are hollowed out by hand to collect rainwater.
