Belozersky House
Detailed description
In 1874, a Russian-style mansion was built for the honorary citizen of the city, Glushkova I. G. After the change of many owners of the estate, in 1913, at the behest of the new owner, the house was rebuilt. The architects were given a difficult task: to create something new and bright in the old walls. In terms of forms and elements, the mansion can be attributed to the fashionable architectural trend of that time-neoclassicism. The facade is decorated with pilasters supporting a triangular pediment, stucco bas-reliefs, the top of the building is decorated with a dome. The interior has been partially preserved: palace ceilings with coffered vaults, marble stairs. Now there is a polyclinic in the building.
