Detailed description
The house is a monument of the history and architecture of the region. The estate was built in the 1870s for the wealthy merchant Konstantin Sigachev. The house was built in the traditional Russian style with decorative carvings on the facade and high plinths. At that time, the house was equipped with a steam kitchen and a heating system. In 1917, the house was confiscated by the Bolsheviks and used as a government warehouse. During the Great Patriotic War, the estate was bombed and remained in a devastated state for several decades. Now it is an apartment building.
