Chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Samara

A very significant monument with a very supernatural history, the bronze monument to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker. The place for the monumental composition was not chosen by chance, it was here, in 1956, that a wonderful incident occurred, which became popularly known as "Zoya's Standing". The massive granite on which the saint stands was carved at the Kapustinsky deposit. There are always fresh flowers at the chapel.
