Demidov 's Estate

The Demidov estate is an amazing structure in the sense that unique objects have been preserved in its courtyard: an apple orchard, a room in which there was the first bowling alley in Russia, and practically the only cast-iron veranda on pillars with a cast-iron staircase in the world. The main facade of the estate was heavily rebuilt. And it is impossible to understand the architecture of the house from the side wings at all, the house was also rebuilt inside. During the Soviet era, the building was used for a long time by the design bureau for the design of Russian nuclear icebreakers.
