The mansion of the Bavarian Consul General E.M. Meyer
Detailed description
It was built in 1730. This three-storey mansion overlooks the Promenade des Anglais. The building housed the Maritime Ministry (Marine Mansion) in the middle of the 19th century, it was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century, and since 1920 the house has become an ordinary residential building with dense communal rooms and apartments. There is a working fountain in the courtyard. The bay window of the house is richly decorated with stucco, decorated with sculptured female heads in winged helmets and two male heads with beards. The house is a monument of architecture and urban planning of federal significance.
