The main house of the Batashev-Shepelev-Golitsyn estate

The Batashev Mansion is a manor house on Taganka, Shvivaya Gorka, in the center of Moscow, an impressive monument of Moscow classicism. The main preserved parts of the estate are the main building, two outbuildings, a church, outbuildings and a manor house. The building has the status of federal significance. The main palace is decorated with a huge portico consisting of six columns, with a recessed ground floor. The main building was connected to two wings on both sides of the courtyard by a covered gallery, neither of which has survived to this day. The northern facade of the building was decorated with an opening large loggia made of risalite, and the exterior decoration had an interesting and complex design.
