Detailed description
Apartment building on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment, one of the seven Stalinist skyscrapers in Moscow. The house was built in 1938-1940 and 1948-1952. The building is located next to the junction of the Yauza River with the Moskva River and has two side buildings located along Kotelnicheskaya and Podgorskaya embankments. The architects of the project were Dmitry Chechulin and Andrey Rostkovsky, and the chief engineer was L. M. Gokhman. The central building has 32 floors and has a height of 176 meters along with the spire, and the side buildings have a number of floors from 8 to 10. There are 540 apartments in the building.
