Museum of the History of the Jews of Tula
Detailed description
The Museum of Jewish History houses antique objects, books, and furniture from the Tula synagogue. Documents from the funds of the 19th and 20th centuries dedicated to the Jewish community in the city are presented. The museum has a large section dedicated to local Jews who took part in the Great Patriotic War. There are paintings by the artist A.M.Mayorov dedicated to the Holocaust. In the museum you can get acquainted with the life history of individual Jewish families of the city of Tula. Guided tours are available in English and Hebrew. Excursions are also conducted around the city with visits to the cemetery of Jews.
