Church of Seraphim of Sarov
Detailed description
In 1905, a brick church in the Russian style with a tent-roofed bell tower was built at the expense of the three Ermolaev-Zverev brothers, which was consecrated on February 5, 1906. The church was formerly single-domed and single-altar. She was part of a complex that included a shelter for the elderly and children, as well as a shelter for the terminally ill. In the early 1920s, the church was closed, and its completion and bell tower were destroyed. In the 1970s, a club of the deaf and dumb society was located on its territory. However, in 2002, the church was returned to the faithful, and on October 4 of the same year, the first divine service was held there. In 2004, a side chapel of Seraphim Vyritsky was organized in the basement of the church, and in 2008 its bell tower was restored.
