House of the Noble Assembly
Detailed description
The building was founded in 1849 and is an object of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Russian Federation. Thoughtful architecture for the city with spectacular interiors and a grand staircase made of cast iron. The house was a place of social activity of the Tula nobility. At various times there was a public library, an officer's hospital, clubs, a museum and shops. Emperor Nicholas II, writers, musicians, poets and other cultural figures were in the house. The restoration was carried out in 2014. It is now a historic boutique hotel.
