House of the Noble Assembly
Detailed description
In 1852, a house was erected for the needs of the noble assembly, which is now the pearl and pride of the city. It is an ensemble of the main building, towering over the side wings. The facade is made in strictness without pretentious decorative elements, the corners of the building are decorated with voluminous rustication. On the central facade, flat pilasters separate the double windows decorated with an arched sandstone. But the interior is striking in the luxury of the decoration, which has been preserved to this day. There is also a cast-iron openwork staircase, a pillared hall richly decorated with stucco.
