The building housed the club of Communists and the RSDLP gubkom from November 1917 to January 1918
Detailed description
This building is made of brick, has two floors and is L-shaped, with the main facades on L. Tolstoy and Frunze streets. It is made in the neoclassical style, but currently the stylistic elements are not so noticeable due to the changes made during the Soviet era. There is almost no decoration on the facades, except for a few rusticated panels and a vertical shovel layout. The windows are rectangular and have no decorations, and the walls are painted in two colors. The history of the building begins in 1869, when the project for remodeling the apartments of the court counselor O.I. Morkovnikova was approved. In 1874-1877, there were wooden structures on this site.
