Apartment house of N.Ya. and F.Ya. Kolobov
Detailed description
The Kolobov apartment building was built in 1908-1910. The designer of the building was the architectural engineer S. G. Ginger, who started the construction. The construction was completed by the technician M. I. von Wilken. At the facade competition in 1912, the building was awarded a diploma. The open front courtyard from modern Lenin Street appeared contrary to Ginger's original design, which suggested making the entrance to the courtyard through a high arch. As a result, the courtyard was opened to the street and separated from the highway by a fence with an ornate lattice pattern.
