Bell tower of the Assumption Cathedral
Detailed description
The bell tower of the Assumption Divnogorsky Monastery is located on the territory of the Tula Kremlin. It was built in 1762-1766 and demolished in 1936. It was restored only in 2013-2014. The bell tower is a four-tiered white brick building with arched openings. There is a dial, a spire and a cross on the top. At the time of the first construction, there was a temple in the name of Tikhon of Amafunt on the upper tier. During the reconstruction, a temple remained in the bell tower, but it was consecrated in the name of Dmitry Donskoy. The height of the bell tower is 71 meters.
