Kazan Cathedral
Detailed description
The largest church in St. Petersburg. It is located on Nevsky Prospekt and was built in 1801-1811. Architect Andrey Voronikhin worked on the project of the building. The temple was built in the style of Russian classicism and was built for the venerated list of the miraculous Icon of the Mother of God. In terms of the Kazan Cathedral is a Latin cream. The facades are decorated with gray Pudost stone, as well as decorated with reliefs and statues.
