GBUK of the city of Moscow Moscow State Art Gallery of the People's Artist of the USSR Ilya Glazunov

The building occupied by the gallery was built in 1912 by architect Afanasy Grigoriev. At that time, the site belonged to the Naryshkin family. The building was rebuilt several times, and then was acquired by Princess Maria Petrovna Obolenskaya. After the 1917 revolution, the estate was given over to apartments. In the 1970s, the building housed The House of Science and Technology with a cinema. Currently, the building houses a gallery with seven exhibition halls of the Honored Artist I.Glazunov.
