The first Moscow men's gymnasium (Gubernskaya) was organized on the basis of the Moscow Main School, which had existed since September 22, 1786. The building consists of a four-storey main building and a three-storey academic building, which are interconnected. The buildings were built in the classical style and have changed their appearance many times over the centuries. Now the facade of the building is illuminated with a bardic backlight.
