City estate of I.M. Obolensky - I.I. Nekrasov - A.A. Catoire de Bioncourt
Detailed description
The Obolensky estate was built in 1783, and since then the mansion has changed hands many times, but it was owned by the Naryshkin princes the longest. The frequent change of owners made itself felt, as almost everyone made their own changes to the Estate. A fire in 1812 also played a role in the fate of the Estate. The last changes to the appearance of the house were made in the 90s of the 19th century by architects Klein, Kekushev and Zalessky. In 1968, the building was transferred to the Committee of War Veterans, and today the house belongs to the Russian Union of Veterans.
