Detailed description
This house is one of the oldest wooden structures in Moscow. It is a small one-story house with a mezzanine and is a landmark monument of the Moscow wooden Empire. It was built in 1818 for G.A. Palibin, a collegiate adviser and director of the drawing office in the Boundary Office. Magnificent Empire wallpaper, which imitates the painting, still decorates the ceremonial interiors. Today, this building is a center for the restoration of works of art, which also houses an exhibition hall.
