The mansion of M.S. Kuznetsov

The mansion of M.S. Kuznetsov is located near the Botanical Garden of Moscow State University. The building was built in 1792-1795. In 1875-1901, the building was completely rebuilt. After the October Revolution, the mansion was nationalized and various institutions were located in it. The Kuznetsovs' belongings were distributed to all comers. It is a two-storey light green brick building with arched windows. The facade is decorated with stucco and relief figures. Currently, the building houses the museum of the Kuznetsov merchants. The house is classified as a national heritage site.
