Siberian larch, planted by Peter the Great in 1706, is located in Groholsky Lane in Moscow. The tree is a natural monument and is one of the oldest Siberian larches in Russia. Now the height of the tree is about 17 meters, and the age is estimated at about 315 years. Siberian larch was planted in honor of the victory of Russian troops over the Swedes in the Battle of Poltava and became a symbol of the victory of the Russian state in the wars of the XVIII century.
