House of V.Y. Bryusov
Detailed description
A two-storey stone and wooden house with two wings built in 1830. It is made in the style of "northern Art Nouveau". It belonged to the merchant Baev, and the poet Valery Bryusov and his wife rented the first floor. There is currently a museum in the building. On the ground floor of the museum there is a Bryusov memorial room with paintings, furniture, books. On the second floor, you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Silver Age with halls dedicated to symbolism, acmeism and futurism. On the third floor there are exhibition halls with temporary exhibitions.
