The mansion of Neronov-Shikhobalov
Detailed description
The mansion was built in 1840, the first owner was titular Councilor Nerornov. The facade of the building is built in the Renaissance style and has been well preserved to this day. Throughout the history of the house, there were: the Yakovlev Printing Company, it was used as a living space, before the war the District Military Veterinary Administration of the PRIVO was located there, and after the war the editorial office of the newspaper PriVO Za Rodina. In 1941-1942, during the evacuation from Moscow, the family of I.V. Stalin lived in the mansion. Today, the house is unattended and abandoned, and recently the city authorities decided to begin restoration work.
