The main house of the Nashchokins ' estate
Detailed description
In the 18th century, the house in Moscow was the main one in the city estate of K.G. Nashchokina. Pavel Voinovich Nashchokin, a close friend of Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin, was born and raised within its walls. Soon he left, and the estate had a new owner, a Moscow merchant Sergei Sergeevich Egorov. Pavel Voinovich's native house began to be rented out, additional porches and porches were added to the building. In the first years after the end of the Soviet regime, the interiors of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries were removed: stucco ceilings, sockets, oak parquet and door panels. In the 1990s, during the restoration, 18th-century decorations were added to the side facade – platbands marking the transition from Baroque to classicism. The Nashchokins' mansion is an object of cultural heritage of regional importance.
