Detailed description

Golgotha is a memorial cross to the Alapaevsky martyrs. Members of the Romanov family and their close relatives were killed by Soviet officials near the Nizhne-Selimskaya mine, 18 kilometers from the city of Alapaevsk, on the night of July 18, 1918, the day after the tsarist executions, and their bodies were dumped into one of the mines on June 8, 2009. The Russian prosecutor's office rehabilitates all the victims near Alapaevsk.
