Detailed description

The museum-estate building was built in the period from 1881 to 1882. The order was made by Staff Captain A. I. Werner. In 1899, he sold it to A. A. Bostrom, the stepfather of the Russian writer A. N. Tolstoy. During his studies at the Samara Real School, Alexey lived here. Later, the writer often came here for vacations. Alexey wrote more than one story in this house. During the revolution, the building was nationalized. Now the wooden building houses the museum-estate of the writer, where you can get acquainted with the objects of Tolstoy's everyday life.
