Detailed description
Dom12 is the fourth building to be restored as part of the New Holland: Cultural Urbanization project. It was built later than other buildings on the island, between 1847 and 1849, by military engineer Mikhail Pasipkin, designed by architects Savva Chevakinsky and Jean-Baptiste Valin-Delamotte. Like other large ships of New Holland, she was designed to deliver the timber needed by the Admiralty Shipyard to the island. Building 12 consists of two buildings: the corner building 12a, facing Labor Square and Admiralty Canal, and building 12, facing the Kryukov Canal embankment. The restoration and adaptation to modern use took three years.
